John is an award winning photographer with years of experience under his belt,his work has been shown on the BBC and in various local newspapers.  He undertakes all types of photography and some of his work is quite awesome.  John is an outgoing friendly guy,very approachable and his work is real value for money. He was my mams wedding photographer and done a wonderful job.  He also has done some stunning portraits of my children for which I thank him very much.

Thanks for that Genna.  Yes I have a passion for photography and will undertake all kinds of work.  I no longer do wedding photography as find it all too stressful,I much prefer being on the other side of the bar !!!

My other main passion,apart from the wife is fishing.  I have fished for 50 years both sea and freshwater and one of my cameras is always with me when I am out. I have been doing fishing reports/pictures for varied sources for years now. I can supply links to these if required.  I took early retirement from the Pharmaceutical  industry a couple of years ago and the wife and I spend virtually all of the summer staying in Drummore,Mull of Galloway.  We have a static caravan there on the shores of Luce Bay. I have had a love affair with that region for years and have an extensive knowledge of the area and its fishing. The winter we spend back in Whitley Bay  when not in Australia visiting our daughter.

The images you see are mere examples of my work from my extensive image library.  My library covers various countries - England,Scotland,Ireland,Italy,Arab Emirates,Australia etc.  If you cannot find the image you are after just leave a message  and I will try and locate it for you ASAP.  I also have a specialist library covering many aspects of angling,especially sea angling both shore and boat.

I also undertake free local consultations/photoshoots and do not charge an attendance/hourly rate. Not happy with the photos then its purely my loss.

A4 high resolution prints available in an ivory mount with protective backboard £15 each,an ideal gift.  All prints are professionally printed using specialised Archival paper and ink which will not deteriorate over time unlike most "market"  bought prints.

Images can also be supplied with a border,annotation can also be added for no extra cost.  When ordering a print simply quote the album and photo number eg, Wildlife and Nature Album,photo 33 - I can then link it to the Ullyses Butterfly.

NB I am currently in the process of revamping this website and as a consequence the viewable image library is not as extensive as usual. I will be adding images when I can so please keep checking.
